PALAIS DE TOPKAPI (la porte du canon)

Le palais de Topkapi s'étend sur l'emplacement de l'ancienne byzance. Dominant le Bosphore, la corne d'or et la mer de Marmara, il est d'une superficie de 700 000m2. En 1453, ce palais fût construit sur l'endroit de son ancien palais et en 1470, un 2ème palais vit le jour.
